Care about Minnesota’s water? Join a #25by25MN Town Hall!

Dear Minnesotans,

Thank you for your interest in our state’s most precious resource: water. As Governor Dayton often says, each Minnesotan has an individual role to play in working to improve the clean water quality of our lakes, rivers and streams for generations to come.  Starting July 31, Governor Dayton and members of his Cabinet will host 10 Town Halls to discuss ways we can accelerate the pace of progress to clean water in Minnesota. These meetings are designed to engage local citizens in each region of the state. We hope that you will attend the town hall in your area and be a part of the conversation as we identify top priorities and key strategies. While we welcome those with a broad interest in water state wide, if meetings are reaching capacity, we will prioritize residents of the region for seats at discussion tables.

In addition to the town halls, you can host your own community water meeting. Resources are available online here and include: a discussion guide to help you emcee a robust conversation and information packets with tailored data for each region. Make sure to take detailed notes of your group’s discussion and send it in via the online survey tool. Please click here to download your Regional Info Packet and Discussion Guide.

Thank you for your commitment to improving Minnesota’s clean water quality.

Water Advisor to Governor Mark Dayton & Lt. Governor Smith
